To change the environment and open new possibilities is part of lift manufacturer Aritco’s DNA. Imagine what happens if we open possibilities for people to move into new spaces, travel between floors, rooms and places.
To change the environment and open new possibilities is part of lift manufacturer Aritco’s DNA. Every day we change the life for people through our lifts, suddenly they can do things they haven’t been able to do before. In our daily lives we still put up borders for each other. But imagine if we opened possibilities for people to move into new spaces, travel between floors, rooms and places.
Scandinavia is famous for its classic design. This is a heritage we care deeply about, and something we wish to preserve and develop through our lifts. The Aritco HomeLift is the first lift to be uniquely designed for your home. We regard it not only as a lift, but also as a piece of furniture. Therefore, product designer Alexander Lervik was a central figure in the creation of the lift’s design. Alexander is one of Sweden’s leading designers. His work stretches from furniture and light to technical innovations and his vision is to create products that provide new experiences for the user.
Aritco has also collaborated with Alexander Lervik at his latest exhibition “Imagination x12” where he explores the line between art and design. When is design becoming art and art becoming design? The imaginative border that maybe is only in our mind, does it have to exists?
The exhibition consists of 12 design items where Alexander has been inspired by different art genres. One of the objects in the exhibition, a video art, has also been installed as a prototype in our new Aritco HomeLift Access. A way of showing integration of art into designed products.
